"This driver is marked as compatible with all windows versions, yet showed up as incompatible with the 16bit windows subsystem on WinXP Home Edition version 2002 SP1 and therefore un-usable."

"The Artec Ultima 2000 Scanner is somewhat delicate. When it stops working it is generally because the small gear-belt roller needs the bearing surfaces cleaned and re-lubricated. Clean the roller and the post using a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and then lubricate it with a very light coat of wheel bearing grease. Clean te slidebar and re lube it with mineral oil or se
