"Downloaded the 50MB package from the D-link site. Did not work. Too much junk in that file. Used this one, updated the driver through the Device Manager, worked like a charm. Drivers are even WHL signed."

"Unpacked to floppy disk and went to device manager (in Windows 2000) and updated driver and working like a charm for my DFE530TX rev D2 (which shows up as DFE530TX+, but working non-the-less)."
