"pretty much the same response here, setup reports missing files as listed: msetup.exe, _setup.lib, readme.txt, id, data.z, smsrl.sys, smhw.sys, smdsp.sys and sometimes setup.lid when running setup.exe from Win XP Pro reports (Device not found 'SM56')..... whats going on!"

"I downloaded and installed this driver, but I don't think it was successful. At least when I open my control panel, modem, then diagnostics, it tells me my port is open? Another words, either the driver is working and my modem is no good or my modem is good and the driver is not. Any advise?"

"What's the problem? I downloaded it once, unzipped it once and installed it once. Just remember that you should leave the files in the folder where you unzipped them. There are a lot of "Read only" files and they don't like being moved around. Works great."
