rror like he said I might and I just powered the scanner off and then on again (with Windows running) and I was up and running. I have tried it with both versions of the Scanwise software (links on his site) and have been able to scan with both. Give it a shot...it's the only thing I've seen that works."

"This is a very bad download as it only includes the .exe file without the needed .dll file. The only reason to download this file is if you like being frustrated."

"I got it to work on XP, but it´s not worth the time of day to install it.. I had different scanner (for XP) and it worked a 100times better than the 1212p does and ever will be, and a scanner dosen´t cost as much anymore.."

"One of the PROBLEMS with these printer port scanners is that the CABLE has to be a TRUE 25-PIN cable. Quite often the idiot know-it-all salesman of many years experiance has forgotten or perhaps he never learned that this type of cable is required. Oh well!! Good Luck!"

"In some way I got the driver installed together with the patch. There is a french website with good installing instructions named Touslesdrivers.com. Look for Agfa Snapscan 1212p sous Windows XP. Clear pictures when you know what to look for."
