"Go ahead and use this driver, as you're not likely to find a better one. Typical of almost all older Creative products, their drivers are BUGGY. Still suffers from the dreaded "unknown device" syndrome, regardless that the driver release notes say it's been fixed. Just ignore it and press on, or better yet, get a real sound card and put this out for the trashm
