"For windows You change the ending of this file to .ppd and then run the downloaded adobePS printer driver at www.adobe.com/products/printerdrivers/windows.html , when the .exe comes to the part where you choose your .ppd you "point" it to this file! easy as that. Apparrantly none of you have ever run an adobe postscript printer before?"

"This is a ppd file, just download the latest adobe ps driver from www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=1500 after that change the file extension on the txt file to ppd, then when you get to the part of the adobe ps driver that asks for a driver point it to the location of the ppd file, and you are done. Not rocket science"

"I found this driver for laserwriters 4.2.2 at the following url docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=24439 It has the driver in a zip file as a windows95 version for all laserwriter models. I think it will also work for windows98 too."

"Pretty useless download. Got SOMETHING to my desktop but when I 2click it it asks me what program I'd like to open with. Like I should know. So I load the recommended (i.e. bribed for) program. Nothing. What else is new. If you're running a Sony using XP I'd guess don't bother."

"File is in a Mac binary format. I couldn't quickly find a utility to convert the file, so ended up using the PPD in the MS Windows 95 LaserWriter utility zip file."

"I just read everyone's comments regarding the software download for the LaserWriter Select 360. Is it a waste of my time and disk space to download this file? I need the software for this printer. "Installation was excelent. Tne printer is connected and receives the file but it doesn´t print the file, only text and pages of the file description. They start with %!PS-Adobe-3.0 %%Title... %%Creator... Creationdate...

Maybe the problem is in the printer, but it was working with a W95 computer ¿¿??"
