1) It doesn't give you a good quality picture: it's grany and colors are "very far" from being bright.
2) Also the compression mecanics have been sacrified to the low price, so if you start moving quickly in front of the camera,
you'll get a noticable delay even on USB 2.1
So if you are planning to make a family album or a movy, you better get a real digital camera. But for video conferences,
motion detectors etc. this camera does the trick.
Now about the installation: it would be very simple for all Windows systems (including XP). Unfortunately Micro Innovations
did such a mess with the drivers... By now I have only two possible explanations for that: either a malicious insider in the

In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button
Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
Select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
