"Unfortunately, it must be that the application is messed up or the driver was not right. In Photoshop, I can preview but when it comes to scanning, then it hangs. I thought it may have been the driver which got corupted - hence the download - but it stil is not working in any application. I know it is not hardware, the prescan would not work at all but... Hope you have
