"Please help. Tried the other site for driver as well. Keep getting the error message "The program's file part number does not match with your system" Same When I use the 1mb or 2mb bios update. If I try to install anyway the error message is "file size does not match" I have an Optima computer, the manufacturer does not support bios updates. Running Windows ME Thank

"I haven't tried this driver out yet. But it seams to be the same from www.ecsusa.com which I tried and wouldn't flash to my BIOS for some odd reason. My problem is the computer won't detect my 40gb harddrive and I need the harddrive to boot the computer, so I'm screwed in a sense unless I get this driver or buy a different BIOS. "Thanks much! The award bios (aflash77) was all i could find anywhere and it was useless!!! got the message file not found.i had system files on floppy & the bios @ update files from award.i lets you know how it goes--i'm trying to access higher fsb speed(83 currently max)."

"If you go to the site page for this board (www.ecsusa.com/downloads/p6bx_a.html) you will notice there are revisions for both the 1MB and 2MB BIOS. When you see that error, chances are that you have the 1MB version and are attempting to update it with the 2MB version. That won't work, naturally.
