"Froze up on me when attempting to get it to run, after a successful unpacking. No go for me using an XP box. Of course, this entire attempt to get this modem to work with XP has met with complete failure to this point. The modem in question works just ticky boo fine in a W98 text box, but XP just won't work. Phoo."

"driver installed itself upon opening file. Went to device manager select modem click properties click update driver (modem was already working) to clear the yellow ? PERFECT!!! THANKS A+++"

"The driver install is fast and easy but it didn't work with the modem I had: ZOOM 2919l (dualmode) lucent chipset modem (ISA). However, this other modem driver did work excellent. 2919L aka model a30, ltmodem.exe from this site."

"i downloaded the drivers but it does not install. windows 98 still says standard modem. when i bought this thing at best buy the box was open and there was no software. i guess i need the installation disk. any help?"
