"Windows XP keeps its own driver (which doesn't allow the Asound ethernet card to function correctly) when allowing it to do the driver update automatically, so had to manually select the location and remove the tick from the 'compatible software' box to see the drivers then install, ignoring warning the driver is not digitally signed. Worked fine after reboot."

"Geez... this is sad. ASound's site now links to realtek's site direclty for the driver download... not even a mention of this. I tried 4 downloads. The only other thing I found refers to setting full permissions in the registry to allow the update. Windows XP doesn't like the signature but I used it anyway and it works like a champ. And yes, I'll say that ASound needs

"Driver works fine. I found the asonic drivers site once before but lost the url. I know it's not asonic or asound but can't remember. Anyone remember where it is?"

"Asound Ethernet 10/100 NIC card installed with no problems with this driver. Just expanded the zip file and browsed to the target directory when asked by the new hardware install wizard."

"How do I use this file? The readme refers to sub-dirs but there are none in the zip file. Maybe I am just stupid, but I don't think so. I have setup several Lantastic systems."
