"Driver used with Kubuntu 8.04 (Linux distro). KDS VS-7i not in distro database. Unpacked driver in WinXp environment; transferred INF file to Kubuntu machine. Used displayconfig-gtk applet to import driver. xorg.conf configuration file tweaked to 1280x1024@60hz with color depth of 16 rather than 24(32bit). f display distorts. (Virtual display and KDM resolution must match in xorg.conf to keep desktop from scrolling; login screen & desktop will be same resolution). Adjustments can be made by lay users with a little Forum look-up help. This procedure can be used as a General HowTo for other display setups if Default or PlugNPlay installs need fine tuning."
