"Driver works OK ... ECDC 4 didn't see my CD-ROM drives till Msvcrt.dll AND Msvcirt.dll (c \windows(98)\system) were the same file date. 402e doesn't show on the splash screen (402(285)does), it's in the file version Createcd.exe info ... 405 doesn't splash either tho reader/recorder's ARE upgraded). "Sorry for jumping the gun, but this file is CORRUPTED and will not install. If it was not corrupted, it would work fine, I got it from ADAPTEC originally, but no longer have it."

"The current Roxio update for ECDC 4.02 to 4.05 is incomplete, and is broken!. It does not update all the Easy CD Creator version Deluxe 4.02 files to 4.05, does not upgrade the ecdc folder, and does not add the CDRW burner support for my Creative 121032E, making it useless. The version number is NOT updated after running the 4.05 upgrade, and remains at 4.02. I encountered

no errors in the upgrade process, and the program indicated (false) success. The Copy CD function does not recognize my recorder. In contrast, the Direct CD upgrade to 4.05 works fine. The 4.03a upgrade to the ECDC works!."

"I have Creator ver 4.02.I tried to upgrade with the ecdc_v405_up didn't work. will try your version 4.03. Ver 405 I was still missing cdudf.sys install file. This problem started when I upgraded from 98 to 2000 and Creator was preinstalled with the PC. After 2000 upgrade trouble to get the install drivers. But will give it a try anyways. Thanks!"
