"I've got this old w/3.1 system. I recently found this old SMC network card that I thought might work in it. But I couldn't get it working, probably due to my lack of knowledge with networking 3.1 rather than the driver."

"This driver was used for an old ISA SMC card and worked very well. We needed it to run the BNC port on that card but it failed to activate it. The ethernet port did fire up and run very well."

"The driver worked fine for my Windows 98se. Needed to uninstall the hardware (remove from system), install the drivers, then run Search for hardware to force the installation to bind, but was double plus good when done."
