"This driver works very well with Windows XP Pro without a hitch.

This is the driver you will need for Intel AD1981A analog device(onboard sound).

My motherboard is D845GRG. I've searched and searched for a workable driver for this and I finally found one that really works. I would like to thank the person who submitted this driver."

"The setup did not work on my Win2000 SP4. At the end it gives an

error that says: "Driver Not Found". Reboot the system and run

setup again. I did that, with no success.

Pentium 4 with Integrated Sound Card.

"Great driver. Used it to get the sound working on a Gateway E4000 series. Gateway didn't have the driver, Intel didn't have the correct driver. Why bother with the manufacturers, Driver Guide continues to just rock my socks. Good upload sir."

"I have an Intel D845GRG board (boot logo says Gateway) with built-in audio and this driver worked great. Didn't even have to reboot, as soon as the install was complete, I closed the window and got a beep from the speakers!"
