"Had to install this to get Seagate/Certance tape drive to work with Veritas Backup Exec. The Microsoft driver installed by Windows XP didn't work at all. This fixed it."

"In that this is a Seagate Travan Driver, trying Seagates site was a waste of time. This driver worked fine on test/development machine and fine on the production server."

"When installing for Windows 2003 Server, install manually. Do not use the update driver function of the hardware system manager.

(i.e. use the "have disk" function for installation)

Otherwise you get an error saying hardware cannot be installed.

Absolutely works with Windows 2003 Server standard edition."

"Although this is supposed to be an .exe file it would not install and none of the relevant parts were recognised by my computer. There was no Setup file to initiate the install process."

"Was not able to install this on two instances of windows 2003 server sp1. The drivers simply didn't turn up in the add hardware dialog after choosing the .inf-file folder."
