"This is the newest official NT driver form the www.primax.nl site. It doesn't work with XP and this post is incorrectly labled XP. Primax also has no XP driver, because else you wouldn't be forced to buy their new scanners..."

"No problem for primax colorado d600 under windows xp pro. First install driver for W95-98 and taskbridge for W95-98 and then restart your computer, install now p36_ennt.exe and restart your computer, that's all. Works well, no problem known.

"I have a problem with my Primax FB308C. When I load the Software and try to use the scanner, it crashes the system. I have tried this download same effect. Any ideas?"

"FOR A WINDOWS XP PC....I Installed ALL the options off the Primax Set-Up CD ROM for the Colorado Direct 9600. Then I downloaded this file, found p36_ennt.exe in my Temp folder, ran it, Restarted my computer with the Scanner plugged in and switched on..AND TASKBRIDGE opened up straight away. NO PROBLEMO..... THANKS EVERYONE."

"I use a Network Scanny FB308C that equals a Primax Colerado Direct 30 bit FCC:EMJFB308C that I also posses (both 300dpi optical 4800dpi enhanced, parallel port scanners)

I had problems with most drivers I downloaded for using this with XPpro sp2. The sources are all based on the old WIN95/98/NT drivers. Some have modified name or date/timestamp. As fas as I found there

"Driver works on my 2.6 Celeron Windows XP Home via HP Imagezone plus.

keep scans to about 30Mb and all is ok.

this seems to be a common limitation with this scanner, same limitation as Windows 98.

Scanner lives on, no new one yet!
