"Driver did not match up with card installed due to card not having the same chipset on it. My bad more than drivers bad."

"Works great with a card that I extract from a 2wire router (telmex). just whent it ask for a driver just direct it to the folder where you extract the drivers files and thats all, the con... it doesn't have a installer on it. but it works perfectly. this cards are great. very powerfull transmiter/receiver. I recomend this driver. enjoy. thansk driverguide."

"I realized that a lot of these "generic" cards are based on more popular chipsets, like from Linksys or D-Link; so, I tried the driver/utility for D-Link's DWL-650+ and it worked like a charm (had to force the driver after installing the above, but if you see this and start off from the getgo, you will be fine). "Just to note, this would be a standard driver, where you unpack the zip and point the found new hardware wizard (or update driver in device manager) to those unpacked contents; however, I restarted and it lost the driver, so installed a second time, which finally took. ALSO, for windows 2000, there is no easy way to setup secure wireless (can configure the adapter to use
