"I'm on broadband now, but when I had the Acer 56k data/voice/fax modem connected, the AMU-TU00 drivers were only 2 small INF files and didn't require any executables to install them. A simple location of the files while installing the modem found them to be up to date and fully supported on my system. I downloaded the driver because I had lost my original floppy. It was on

".exe is not required. If you go into Device Manager (XP or 2000) or in Modem properties, then drivers, you can select the modem and "Update Driver". If this does not work, go to Add New hardware device, and browse the directory with the .inf files you just downloaded and this will update the modem drivers."

"Hope this works - my modem AU00 worked fine until i loaded Win XP Pro - only get 2-3 connections before I have to shut down, restart to get modem working again. Anyone else know of this problem?"
