"windows xp will not install.

This is for os that still use dos.

Better look for a new scanner.

This one is very out dated."

"Got the Scanner working but did not get a pix yet. Maybe a hardware issue or maybe "The Gimp" wasn't compatable. By the way it is a twain driver, you still need a scaning program to use it."

"this driver is not working with win xp and also win me.

I changed my motherboard and processor. earlier i had mercury motherboard with celeron 1200 mhz. at that time the scanner worked well in win me but not in win xp.

now i changed to Asus motherboard with AMD 64 bit processor. now the scanner is not working in xp at all and not properly in me. In color scanning

"This scanner was an old 2nd hand unit. only driverguide had a driver. Worked for 95 and 98 .Bombed on xp home when I eventually upgraded. havent found an xp driver yet."

"It's not the xp driver. An xp driver doesn't exist yet for this scanner. But it does work satisfactorily."
