"I tried another C&T driver on a Sager 7200T, and with the other one, the LCD would not display properly. With this driver, I through device manager, and used this driver. The LCD then worked properly. Seems these 7200T laptops are funny about the exact driver they use for their C&T 65554 chip. The wrong driver will not work, as for some reason, the inverter will st

"I installed this Chips & Technology (C&T) 65555 driver on an OLD Toshiba Portege 320CT when I was upgrading it to Windows XP SP2. With the default XP VGA driver, I'd only get two display size choices, one too small, and one that was larger than the physical LCD. This driver worked perfectly, and I can now get the native 1024x600. Recommended!"

"THANK YOU!!!!! Works PERFECTLY on a Gateway 9100 Solo with CHIPS 65554 and WIN XP Home. Before using this driver WINXP loaded a default VGA driver and laptop would not hibernate or standby. "My question is when the driver installed, if I choose the screen resolution sstting to 1027* 768, then I could not see the whole screen in the LCD panel, it only shown part of the screen, why? but 800*640 is normal???"

"I have a compaq armada 1700 supposedly w/ a 68555 video card however, when I ck the bios it states 65555. Any 1 encounter this same prb & does the 65555 driver work on xp. I saw that it worked 4 a few folks but did they have the same info I have?"
