"It tryed to help -) , but still no cd rom -( .I'll take it to the shop tomorrow.I tryed desk top then winzip to install 4 times then gave up ~. I noticed no new problems yet it didn't hurt my system. -) D W"

"Device manager says the driver for this CD Rom cannot be loaded. I've tried this zip file...it contains only a cdrom.sys. I've tried to overwrite the cdrom.sys on c /system32/drivers, but the old version of the file mysteriously reappears each time I do this. I've tried uninstalling the device (driver) and reinstalling. Each time, it reloads the original driver and ind
