Additional Notes

This is the latest/only (that I can find) BIOS update to suit IBM "Machine Type 6283" computers such as the PS/ValuePoint 425SX/S.

This upgraded mine from L6ET58AUK to L6ET58AUS

This model is not to be confused with the MicroStar MS-6283 here:

http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/bios/bos/spt_bos_detail.php?UID=291&kind=1

or the Medion MD-6283 here:

I expect this file was originally in ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/valuepnt/ but that directory was emptied on 13 Apr 2003

This update was not easy to find, but I eventually found it here: http://files.chatnfiles.com/Cream_Of_The_Crop_3/diag/

It didn't show up searchi
