"When I upgraded to Win XP Pro, my 3D graffix weren't working so i downloaded this driver, it works ok but still Windows still says my adapter doesn't support 3D ?????? I Give up, dosen't S3 have a genuine driver for S3 trio3D/2x???"

"XP Home Edition What I did Used WinZip to exract the files from the EXE file. Use Hardware Wizard to manually install the driver from "a specified location" where I unzipped the files to. Works like a charm. I've heard that S3's setup programs are sometimes buggy, so avoid them if you can."

"The read-me file with this driver says it's for Win 2000, Not XP. I tried to load it on XP Home edition, it didn't work."

"Yep - this drivers works a treat. After looking for a while, I thought I wasn't going to find one. Then I thought this might be a virus, so I checked the innards with good 'ol HexEd - no worries - now I've got my 1024x768 85Hz 24bit colour back - thanks heaps Gazza!"

"The texture mapping that occurs with this driver installed is of very poor quality. Maybe it's either because the graphics card is incapable (very rare for a 4mb video ram) or the driver has issues."
