"hi all...i have a problem with my diamond monster mx300 sound card on xp...i couldnt found its driver for win xp...i ve tried als4000 but it didnt work as well as on win 98 or 2000...maybe i couldnt do....can anyone explain me what i exactly should do? c y thanx a lot"

"Yes, works fine. XP 2600 ( no direct sound yet!) Sim, funciona perfeitamente. Reparem que o driver original do disco als 4000 para win 2000 também funciona perceitamente, não sendo necessário a troca, pois AMBOS não dão suporte ao DIRECT SOUND. Esta placa não tem buffer no hardware para isso."

"Did it work "yes" How? open up control panel and select new hardware. add new hardware and select "yes hardware already installed" please ensure you put your sound card in the machine first!!! select multimedia controller and point explorer in the direction of the driver file. select ok and let XP install your driver."
