"I tried several times to get Mirascan342.exe to work on my computer without success. It either asks to restart scanner or cannot find driver file.

"Doesn't work at all. It installed something to do with the scanner, but in the Scanner list there was nothing there. When I went to manually add the scanner, I couldn't find the file I needed."

"I use mirascan driver to scanner ACER SCAN PRISA 340P only. Mirascan driver works in lab of programm Page Editor, that is powerfull tool for complete work-out printable image of page, or it is posible produce copy on press one button only. For me is this driver more agreable then any other scanners and its drivers."

And you can not uninstalled it because of the internal erro.

So you would format your hard disk and install the Xp again."

"v3423p is the only one working with xp. v3424p does not work at all with xp! Not very stable: after a while the scanner is on and is unused, something locks up and i have to power off and on the scanner. The it works."

"Thanks very much - I got this to work AOK by following advice posted by "insulae" regarding installation process, especially the EPPSCANNER option. That was really the secret! I also rebooted once finished. You need to do this all in one go, so if it's half installed, delete and go again."

"It did not work, therefore, I acted upon the advice of my boss Sir Ahmed Annasban and I removed latest OS and re-installed Windows98 to use my scanner. I will blame Microsoft for this. It should have been built in with XP and ME"

"I downloaded this driver and I also recieved a trojan. Luckily I had my Trojan scanner running. I ended up getting the driver for my Acer 320P from www.benq.com.au Good idea to check before you install. The trojan was called "Backdoor theef""

"Hello every body, I have downloaded both MiraScan_v3423.exe and MiraScan_v3424p.exe however, none of them made my scanner Acer 340P work under Windows XP. Unless there is a specific way to install either file, I think downloading these files is a waste of time. Thanks."

"I had tried to download this driver before to use, but after installation, when I reboot the computer , I found out that it shows Color FlatbedScanner "SCSI Device" , but what I have is Windows XP + parallel VuegoScan 310P(not SCSI port but parallel port). Then it says that I need to restart the computer to activate the driver. I tried to restart 2 or 3 times then finally,
