"I install driver for QMS DeskLaser 600.

But when I print I resive msg. Chek cabel connection or printer power. And printer not print.

I use windows XP and I install drivers for XP.

"Thank you Jana, the driver works great! It would not work unles you open the install.bat. I have also tried HP Laser Jet 5000 Series PCL and this one would not work for me."

"XP Users After trying for days and nights with varios XP drivers offered here and at other places, I was about to give up and throw the printer away.. But it´s so easy to solve the problem.. simply install your qms dl 600 with XP´s standard printer driver "HP Laser Jet 5000 Series PCL".. it works with absolutely NO problems!! Greets Leslie"

"HY Jana! I`ve all done what you have written in the installationfile. really everything - but all the same. I get evertime the message to check the cable or power of the printer. I have Windows Xp home the german edtion and i´m really sad because i search for 1 week without success - can you help me???"

"Did everthing as recommended (installation procedure, re-checked if all files are there etc.), installation just worked fine but got the same error message about cable problem. Any new suggestions? Thanks!"

"if driver doesn't work because of an status monitor error you might have double-clicked the wrong install-file. please look if you have chosen "install.bat". to distinct them turn off "hide known file extensions" in your folder options."

"Installation as discribed, everything works fine. Then I changed the Port to an USB-Replicator Virtual LPT-Port, then system freez after reboot. Only change is to do the rescue-option."
