"Did not work on my Panasonic CF-47. It has the Yamaha XG YMF-744-V chipset. Look for the driver from the external site that comes from ftp.yamaha.com.jp, that driver has worked great."

"I downloaded the driver for the ymf740, but it doesn´t install correctly (works exactly like the XP native). In the .inf file it says that I must do the "special" settings, because it's set to generic port. Could someone tell me what I have to do? Yamaha didn't answer me!!! Thanks!"

"YES, it did work. The problem with one inactive output under the original xp installed drivers is fixed. THanks for the driver. Conclusion under some sistems it works, under some...it don't. I had luck. Bye...."

"Unfortunately, this driver doesn't work in my Toshiba Tecra 8100. After it installs, when Windows tries to install the card, the install fails with an error code (28) - Data Error, I don't necessarily think the driver is bad, it just doesn't work with my DS/XG 744 card."
