"gee, dont we give up easily... i extracted it and solo 1150 working well... cant believe that when fixing a win machine you ppl that didnt manage to extract the file before giving up and whining!!"

"Worked perfectly. I used it in my Gateway Solo 1150 after i isntalled windows XP. I belive gatway calls this modem the 56K AC-Link Modem. But yes...rename from .exe to .zip. It works that way. If nothing else open winzip up, or the extraciton utility you use and click file > open ...select all files then browse the downlaod...that should work also."

"Thanks, it worked for me. What I did was that copied the link that is posted here by Matt and downloaded the driver. It came in zip mode. Just unziped and run the setup file. It installed the modem automatically in windows XP. Thanks again to all that helped. Alex"

"Just to clear things up. The driver does work! I needed it to get the PCI Modem going in my Gateway Solo 1150 Laptop after installing WinXP (removed WinME). When you download it, rename the .exe to a .zip Open the zip file and one of the .exe files in it will unpack the driver for you. It took a bit of mucking around with, but it does work! ^)"

"Rename the file from 7511679.exe to 7511679.zip and then extract the files. It'll work for you then"

"when i downloaded the driver i got an error message, file damaged try to redownload. When I tryed to download it it said file damaged."
