"In Response toneeding the Base Drivers for the sound blaster Audigy in Windows XP, I've found that Gateway has the drivers (25 MB download, BTW) available from a link on this page support.gateway.com/support/drivers/getFile.asp?ref=undefined&id=8302 Kinda Ironic that I had to get it from them, considering I bought a Dell.. )"

"I installed just the drivers for the audigy sound card. When I run the driver it keeps telling me no hard ware present my firewire doesn't work in XP. Anyone have any suggestions to what I should do?"

"This will work just fine but unfortunately I lost of original CD and formatted my hd therefore i cant install it. Does anyone know how i can get the original driver for the audigy series for xp Thanks"

"Here is the reply I got from Creative Support about the 24-bit audio query Dear Sean, The Sound Blaster Audigy cannot play 24 bit wave files. This Card actually emulates 24-bit when playing 16-bit by resampling, so it outputs 24-bit. If you require further technical information I can arrange this. "The driver installed successfully over the previous driver and fixed serveral bugs such as Soundfont, EAX effects and Dolby Digital 5.1. Every feature except for 24-bit audio worked properly. The soundcard may act up if the computer is put into hibernation, i.e. when my computer recovers from hibernation, any sound or music tends to play with noise. Rebooting the PC sol
