"After several more attempts with this driver I gave up completely. Also the other drivers on this site that I referred to did not work. I did download the drivers from the URL at Motorola that someone provided, but quite frankly did not want to spend any more time on this project. Modems are cheaper than my time is, I baught a $15 Lucent modem from CompUSA and it worked

"Downloaded this driver today, comments about its hanging in certain help drivers is correct. Placing fake files works for most of them, but it ist still hanging on the file for 'TChinese.hlp'. Attempts to install this unit skipping the help files also failed. Have given up on this one, and will try the otherone on this site called 'Motorola SM56 Data-Fax WinXP.zip'. Wi

"It works perfectly Fine on XP professional SP1. Well.. it said it couldn't find some help files during setup, but I fooled it by creating empty files in those names (chinese.hlp, spanish.hlp ...etc), place them under the same directory and it works ! Thanks Man."
