"at first i was hesitant filling the driverguide free registration thought it might lead me to nowhere thus another scam. after receiving the confirmation email and link to finalizing registration and ultimately the link to download and finally downloading the cirrus logic modem driver, my doubts vanished.

Best of all, the driver worked on my modem!!!!

"Hello, i have WinXP pro, and when ever i install this driver through Add New Devices i get a blue screen, saying it had an error with CLM50.sys. And if I try to install though modems it doesnt show anything at all. Fresh installation of windows XP pro."

"I used this for an Atech Ats-260 modem with a Cirrus Logic chip (CL-MD5620DT-QC-B) under XP Pro and it seems to work fine. I just tested it with hyper-terminal. Thanks BlingDawg cuz things never work the 1st time for me."

"I have a CLMD 5620 modem. This driver will not work in windows xp for me. It freezes during the install, freezes when trying to get the properties for the modem, and just doesn't work. It behaves just like the win2000 driver for this modem. I am using a totally clean install of XP pro."
