mustek do not appear to offer much support for older scanners.

"If I exit the scanner at startup my taskbar and displays are fine. If I leave the scanner active since I've started with Win XP professional my displays and taskbar are distorted. It was fine for Win 98, but forget Win XP."

"Listen here you plonkers - go into regedit and change the version of Windows to 2000 (search this 600cp database - there's more info on it). Install the Win2000 drivers from Musteks home page (one full *.exe not the mulit file). Then chage entry back to Windows XP and it works via whatever graphics program you use (Photoshop 7 here)...try it..."

"works fine. It is not put any program onto the computer, just the driver. You need an image/movie capture or editor program to use it. Select Mustak 600CP as the image source. The Ulead IPhoto Plus 4.x (what was origrinally came with this scanner)works fine under XP too."
