"Could not get this to work with XPpro. (packard bell platinum 500mhz PIII.) I tried all the searches and files found for PCI288, none of these worked either. I then tried :"Trident 4DWAVE-DX" and bingo worked a treat."

"Alain's instructions help a lot. Packard Bell's answer to me was that my computer is not compatible with XP.This driver went the closest to working, however, it locked up Windows XP, thank you Microsoft for providing restore points along the way."

"This driver is ok, but everytime I pause during a song or something I get demented sounds and I cant seem to get the 4 speaker thing working! Does anyone else have these problems? I'm running XP Pro. Can anyone help?"
