"I use Kubuntu Dapper (KDE Beryl)

download driver and cd /path/to/driver/ and install scanner software if needed.

$ sudo apt-get install sane* libsane libkscan1 xsane gv gocr

make directory for firmware, unzip driver and copy firmware

$ sudo mkdir /usr/share/sane/snapscan

$ unzip epson_perfection_660-driverp660_5.1e.zip

$ sudo cp DATA/BIN/TAIL_061.BIN
