"Worked very well for my NEC NR-7500A CD and Windows XP. Just delete the cd drive from XP's hardware list, put cdrawl2k.sys in C \Windows\System32\Drivers, and restart your computer. When the computer restarts, just wait and watch while XP flails around a bit and finds the CD burner and the driver. I was burning CDs in no time."

"no positive effect! As many commentators before, I must say, my burner is still not working. After start pop up contiues, saying, driver is switched off. So "XP-Writing on CD" and my bigger burning software "Davideo CD Burner" are still out of order. Summary If you have problems with cdralw, this version will not solve anything. Just more costs!"

"Since downloading XP. every time i start windows my cdralw2k.sys drive and cdr4_2k.sys drive are disabled. I`ve down loaded your update for both drivers but the problem is still happening."

"My problem was shut down (dumping of physical memory) during or after using easy CD creator CD COPIER. Recomended driver update. Sorry, your driver is ..34, mine is ..38."

"version of this is 1034 while the one currently on my machine is 1035 so I really doubt this will solve anything. Decided to follow instructions in q315345& to get rid of the POS."

"well, i thought, this dirver (and cdr4_2k.sys) will fix the problem i had after installing roxio winoncd 3.8 under xp (winoncd does not run under xp, did u know? bad idea!) well, as far as i can see it now, the fix did not work, the error i get is just different. sorry."
