"I Can only view the read me file maybe i am doing something wrong it says installed correctly but does not detect the device tells me to check cables etc but my scanning equipment is perfect with win 98 but not with XP"

"As Alex Smith said, it does work if you reboot, I'm using a D600 and not the 9600 though. It does seem slightly slow and can be unstable, requiring a couple of attempts occasionally."

"It *Does* work on XP. You install it from the EXE, Reboot With the scanner connected and launch a program with TWAIN support (PSP etc...) then Aquire the image - thats all there is to it! Need Help? Then Mail Me!"

"Ce pilote est ok pour le primax colorado direct 9600. Il faut d'abord le décompresser avec "winrar". Bon amusement! This driver works very well.Don't forget! You have to unzip it with "Winrar".Enjoy it!"

"The driver works perfectly, but you will need an application to run the driver (i.e. word 2000). If you have word then try to insert a picture from the scanner, using word's toolbar."

"Worked for me. If you have D600 load her up from the original disk and then download the driver. MGI photo suite needed RUN auto setup. Defaulted to ADOBE so used MGI get photo's. Check DPI is low. 1MB files are enough."

"I just installed the driver under Win XP Pro and it works a treat! I am using the Parrallel Port version of the scanner. My suggestion is that you try it again. If it works for me, why not you?! Cheers."

"Works very well.... For those who can not run it properly - "Right click on the p30_ennt.exe file then unzip it to a new folder", note you must have winzip. Then from that new folder double-click the setup.exe file. Be sure to restart your machine after restart install the program such as task bridge to test, be sure that your lpt1 is in normal mode. "Nothing works!!! I have downloaded all the installers and drivers, from this site, I can find that has anything remotley to do with either "Primax" or Colorado direct". But, nothing happens. The best result I got was at the first try. Then it installed the TWAIN32 source. But when I opened Photoshop to choose that source it said that there were something wrong with the LPT
