"On an eOne 433 running Windows XP Pro with SP2 this driver did not fuction properly. It installed (although it is NOT a signed XP driver) and the computer then recognized the modem (that is true for many drivers that do not actually allow you to use the modem). However when trying to use the modem it does not detect a dial tone, even when I plug a phone into the phone ja

ck and I can hear a dial tone on that. If you set the modem to dial even without a dial tone it will lock up when you try to dial, not actually dial, and then report that the other machine did not respond."

"When I download this, there is no executable install file. There is an uninstall file, called "ptuninst". Am I missing something? Help!"

"Program installs well, and identifies himself as pctel hsp 56k modem. Diagnosistics work well,No conflicts noted. but does not find dial tone , does not dial out. In short it didnt work for me Eone 433 running on xp pro."
