"I'd been having close to 50 kps on my dialup until suddenly it slowed to 26-29 kps. HP tech support suggested a 'new driver' and the correct magical incantations etc to get it going. Didn't work. I still have 26-29 kbs input and I'm too broke for the faster ones. So I'm getting the August 2006 driver today!"

"well another driver found another modem saved (though dsl is far better lol),unzipped to a folder found the 98se folder and installed the drivers i needed no problems quick and painless thanks to the poster of the driver and to drivers guide for keeping it free"
