"I got a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH when trying to install this driver!

Be carefull of this one...I ended up using an older driver from April of 2000 just to get it to work again...Oh well...I guess I just can't upgrade this cheap ass modem... I will be getting a new one,,,,but NOT from Rockwell/Conexant!!!

Remember, you get what you pay for...."

"I downloaded the driver and extracted the zip file. Then i initiated the install, but when WinXP gave a notice that it was not verified for XP I cancelled the install and had to restore all my modem files from the origional install disk which i just happened to find. The attempted install of this driver deleted the old driver files first thing not allowing for just halti

"Didn't work in this system - an all new WinXP Pro, Intel main board, P-4 2.0 processor. Installed, detected, ran diagnosis just fine - but would not dial. Tested an external modem on same phone line and it worked fine. Am going to ditch this modem."

"My modem was working perfectly well with WINDOWS 98. After upgrading to WINDOWS XP it doesn't work any more though the modem is recognised by the operating system during diagnostics. I hope the new driver will work OK"

"Peter I have down loaded this file to-day (29/10/2002 14 35) and will test it. My problem appears to be much like several others who have taken time out to request drivers. I was running Windows 98 Second Edition. I upgraded to Windows XP and since then my Internet connection has become unstable. I will keep you posted."

"I installed a modem as a favour - they decided to get onto the Net and had someone else make the connection. He stuffed it up BIG TIME!! Then took off the modem through Win safe mode. All this happening 50kms away then they call me to fix the damage. So - I need this driver. Only thing - I hope it works thru Win98. Many thanks from OZ"
