"The device is an external re-writeable Phillips CD drive. The driver software, which I downloaded and put on a floppy drive, only worked once. The second time I tried to install the drive on another machine, the installation failed. Error message said something was missing from the installation so0ftware."

"This driver did not work for me on XP! But, if you search for PCRW464 (the one added in March 2002) this one worked fine on my system, which I'd recommend to XP users. However, installation of drivers are not for the timid."

"I have a CDRW400 Series. I could install this CDRW driver, but it didn't allow the PC to recognize the CD burner. It recognizes it as CDRW406, which is incorrect and doesn't allow the device to work."
