"This is only a fix if you have the original driver from the internet or on the driver cd, that couldn't load on windows xp. Didn't help me because I lost my drivercd ;-)"

"when i readed the comments, i did not want to install driver for mustek scanexpress 1200usb. my advice: go to mustek.com and download the fixwinxt.exe (0.84mb) and the 4 (four) drivers (web.exe, webw02, webw03 and webw04).after you run first the fixwinxp.exe and then when u get asked, the web.exe. good luck tom"

"It worked. I am migrating from 98 to XP and could not get the install disk to work. I went to Mustek and downloaded the XP driver, but that did not help me. This program did the trick. I was able to install all the software I had on the previous version. The only exception is that I no longer get the Scan Dialogue box where I could go directly to the photo app. But I did s
