"It solved the real problem - network card pinged outside world in Win2k safe mode, but did not in normal mode - after a purchased award bios upgrade - by TOTALLY GARBAGING the BIOS - now the PC just sits there - IT WONT BOOTSTRAP the BIOS.

So no more time wasted - another box is only $99 away."
