"I forgot to mention that for these drivers to work for a Jaton USB modem under WinXP (this additional instructions don't apply to a SmartLink USB56), you have to set up the Jaton USB modem with its original Windows 2000 drivers and then update drivers to Windows XP using the drivers provided here."
