and cw2 ingnores. I remember the CW0 since it is what I use and it works. AHH but here is the problem. If NOT on-line and the PHONE RINGS XP will freeze! Actiontech provided a fix. In Bitware have the RECEIVE MANAGER running and no more freeze. I find this a bit daunting and for some reason that recieve manger shows to use 100% of my CPU. I am not sure if the Simply update would be the same issue. AHH but here is a cheaper fix than the $50 upgrade. I just found that it is the receive feature that prevents the lock up. SO if you turn on MS fax monitor to receive calls-TA DA no lock ups and it does not use any CPU to just sit there. I set it to 8 rings so it does not interfere with my answering system. I am assuming maybe if you run any software answering system and have the auto receive on, that it would work too. I did not try just having MS Fax Monitor running without the receive enabled to see if it worked. I would appreciate if anyone finds away to prevent the lock up WITHOUT having to turn on any software. Thanks"
