"Driver didn't work for me, found that the modem once installed under WinXP will identify itself as a Best Data Fax, (info found on the internet), and found that if i used the add hardware, and loaded Modems, i found it listed there, and that worked great. This modem came with an eMachine pc T5082 that had Vista installed, and I downgraded it to WinXP, so had to find all th

"Having searched all over for a generic modem driver for voice data fax modems this one works. The generic XP version would not work neither would the generic Conexant driver. Thanks"

Finally have something to smile about i uninstalled modem in device manager - clicked on setup.exe (after extracting zip) pointed it to GENHSF5, rebooted and voila! modems quite after handshake no more hailstorm coming from speaker and am currently connected at 52kps fastest its ever been. i wish i had this driver 12 months ago. now anyone know how to ge

"I downloaded the XP drivers from the official conexant site - they SUCKED!!! Now i am downloading this Russian stuff. I think it will work because everything that comes from Russia is cool. I will post a comment if it really worked or not."
