"Have downloaded this driver twice now and cannot get computer to recognise it. The prolem I have is that the drivers for both my disc reader and disc reader have disappered from my computer and the only way to re-install is by downloading from the internet."

"This driver appears to be the same as the LG driver for Dos & Win3x. Perhaps that is why so many people are having trouble. Go to LG and read."

"Forget about this driver, it's useless Go directly to LG web site they give the driver and good instructions www.lge.ca (probably safer to use driver from the company)"

"I was not so lucky with this driver,( No Biggie)But the LG Web site ,does have the the update,took some finding,but it is there,works fine now,some users ,if using win media,might have to load the updated codec,s from Micro soft"

"LG DVD-ROM DRD-8160B is not complaint with Microsoft Windows XP if you check Microsofts HCL. Does anybody have drivers that will get this DVD running on XP? And has anybody had any success what so ever please email me at nelson_jaws@hotmail.com Thank You"

"I did a search for DRD6180b taken from my device manager listing of the dvd rom drive.

when I installed it all I got was old dos drivers.

Not what I wanted.
