"Gonna try this on a HP 7940 Pavilion a friend and I recently downgraded from WinME. HP says its a Crystal, but the BIOS says its an 810E ?? Wish us luck -)"

"Got the two files in the zp unarchived, however there was no match when I pointed the driver install to that directory I had made. -S I have a pavilion XL753 here I am working on, but no go there."
