"Beautiful! I have not been able to use this drive since my upgrade to Windows XP 8 months ago -- this did it! 1. Open the zip file 2. Extract Onstor2k.sys somewhere (I used \windows\system32\drivers\) 3. Extract Onstor2k.inf somewhere (I used \windows\inf\) 4. Run the "add hardware" wizard. I had to point it to the location of the Onstor2k.sys file when it asked. That's a

"WXP did not recognise the .inf file as containing the necessary driver info, copying the .inf & .sys directly into the windows directories did not work either"

"Would not install. Windows XP keeps saying it is not digatally signed and install would not finish. I have an older HD enclosure am trying to install. WOrked fine then I reformatted and now wont work. None of the drivers listed for InSpec have worked."

"on a XP u do not need that driver, just check that the jumpers are set as master, and XP will recognize it"

"Superb! Thanks a lot ! I looked on the Onspec site but didnt find anything....fell into despair...until I discovered this site and your input. I have XP Pro on a P4 machine and it installed without a glitch. I just followed the instructions for "a new hardware install"."

"Hi, I still cannot get it to work on my XP home edition. It says the mass storage device is not functional and doesn't let me use the driver at all. Please advice."

"Thanks a lot for the dirver. I had been using the external usb drive for about three years. Bought a new P4 with Windows 2000 PRO and the old usb drive would not work on it. Downloaded this driver, followed the installation instructions above & the drive now works great on my new system. Thanks Again Nutsneal"

Open the zip file

1. Extract Onstor2k.sys in \windows\system32\drivers\

2. Extract Onstor2k.inf in \windows\inf\"
