"The secreat to it is to go through the "Have Disk" button. Once I installed it this way it worked fine."

Did exactly what Debbie did (from her comment) and had no problems. XP now sees the burner I have on the Fireport & I can pull data off of it without problem. Haven't tried burning yet & I don't currently have any hard drives on the card either. The INF has a comment about it being for NT4, but apart from XP complaining about it not being signe

"Wouldn't install due to error "The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows 95 or later." I downloaded and extracted the files first to a directory on my HD, then went to "Update Driver" in the Device Manager and got the error. I then tried extracting the files to a floppy, uninstalling t

"So easy and worked great. I extracted the files to a floppy. Then on my XP computer in device manager I found the SCSI device, right-clicked on it and choose update driver. Choose install from spec location, Next, Don't search, I will choose....., next,click on the device and choose have disk. Reboot and everything was there. Thanks Chuck"

"You might want to try just steps 6 & 7 to see if that works for you at first. If not then you can try all the steps I did, to get it to work. I just followed the txt & html instructions in the extracted files to get mine to work."

"Worked for me. =o) I already had XP installed so this is what I did. 1) extract file to floppy 2) boot off XP install CD - hit F6 at SCSI prompt. 3) XP setup copies SCSI files from floppy & XP CD. 4) When XP prompts to install (or reinstall) XP. ABORT install, since SCSI drivers are installed now. 5) Reboot up normally into XP 6) In Device Manager, replace driver that XP
